Esther Gaor – FIDM

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Esther Gaor was inspired by the ability to shift one’s perspective of the world, after living in the slums during her childhood. Her FIDM Debut collection, titled “One Day x Day One” is based on the concept of bringing life to the modern fairy tale by removing limitations and boundaries, allowing the inner dreamer to experience life to the fullest. She incorporated color blocking, architectural designs, paneling, gradient printing, and embellishment in this collection of menswear and womenswear. In the future, Gaor envisions herself as a leading fashion designer representing Filipino culture, having the ability to give back to the community, and creating opportunities for the Filipino people.
