Her bachelor of architecture degree and five years of architectural experience is the inspiration for Airi Isoda's collection. She strives to find the connection between architecture and fashion, reflecting architectural and urban landscapes. Her ready-to-wear collection, titled "Building Clothes," is designed to connect the wearer of the garment to the surrounding urban environment. In her designs, Airi uses building materials such as wood, metal cables, house paint, and concrete (for jewelry). She is a citizen of the world, having lived in six countries.
