Fashion is so cool!!!!
Not only is fashion “pop art” but it has the decency to keep changing (sometimes hourly) so we can keep bringing you up to date, try to convince you that you’re supposed to try the latest trend and adopt the latest style, or at least be cool and know “what’s happening”. Fashion Week El Paseo is preparing to launch it’s 4th year. The week will be full of so many daily and evening events that your pretty/ handsome heads will spin. (And this season hats are so fashionable…here’s another challenge.)
We have benefited from the input of the community. After the Great White Fashion Tent came down in March, 2008 we received many positive calls and comments asking us when we were doing it again. Many of those calls were ideas apropos of Fashion Week 2009. So, in order to stay hip we knew we had to keep in touch and start our own Fashion Blog. Here’s your chance to spend the next 5 months talking about what and who is “cool” in the fashion world. It’s a veritable “fashionfreeforall”!!! Throw those comments and question my way; challenge my need to be the first to know, and help us all count down the days until FWEP actually starts. Coco Chanel said “ Fashion is made to become unfashionable”. That smart woman knew that we would always be challenged and entertained. The industry has certainly grown and changed since she said that. Nevertheless, her thought still rings true. Let’s stay on top of this together and share our stylish delights and dilemmas.
